Leyla's impressive career in advertising and production includes an extensive portfolio with notable stints at some of the industry's most prominent companies, such as Droga5, Translation, Ogilvy, mcgarrybowen, SpikeDDB, Ace Content, Virtue, Huge, and Wunderman Thompson, showcasing her vast expertise and leadership in the field.

In addition, Leyla is the Managing Partner at The Gig Media, a proud LGBTQIA+ and women-owned production company. The Gig Media champions diversity, actively promoting talents through mentorships and educational resources while producing both scripted and unscripted original content. Leyla is the cohost, writer, and producer of the series The Gig, where she and Jessica L. Ransom produce original content and movie reviews.

Raised in The Bronx, New York City, by Puerto Rican parents, Leyla's deep-rooted understanding of the importance of family and community has profoundly influenced her professional ethos. As director, Leyla’s extensive portfolio includes directing innovative TV and online content for notable brands like Paramount+, MTV, Zero Point Zero Productions, The New York Times, Netflix, and Vox. Her dynamic approach and visionary leadership have led to collaborations with Chase Marriott/Bonvoy, StraightTalk, Del Real Foods, and Kingsford, consistently earning accolades for pushing creative boundaries.
